Getting Started

Docy is clinical documentation software from Docy Technologies (Pty) Ltd for South African practices. It combines an AI medical scribe (voice-to-notes), digital patient intake, and cloud patient records so clinicians spend less time on paperwork.

The clinician remains the author of the clinical note. AI assists with transcription and drafting; it does not replace clinical judgement. To see it in action, book a demo.

Select Get Started at the top of our website to create your account in a few minutes. You will be guided through setting up your practice profile, adding team members, and connecting your first patient records.

If you would prefer a walkthrough, request a demo and our team will set up a session tailored to your workflow.

Use whichever email you prefer for day-to-day access — your personal address or your practice email both work. What matters is that it’s an inbox you check regularly, since Docy sends important notifications about appointments, records, and team activity there.

Your practice’s billing and admin contacts can be configured separately in settings once you’re set up.

Yes. Docy is used across the healthcare spectrum in South Africa, from GPs and specialists to allied health. Practitioners using it include cardiologists, maxillofacial surgeons, dietitians, biokineticists, physiotherapists, and podiatrists.

The company behind the product is Docy Technologies (Pty) Ltd. How patient information is handled under POPIA is set out in our privacy policy.

From your practice dashboard, open Settings → Team and click Invite member. Enter their email address and assign a role (admin, clinician, or receptionist). They’ll receive an invitation link to create their account and join your practice workspace.

You can revoke or change roles at any time without affecting existing patient data.

Docy is web-based software, so you can sign in from any device with a modern browser and internet access.

You can also add an app shortcut to your home screen on mobile or desktop for quicker access — it works like an installed app without a separate download from an app store.
