Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident choosing Docy (Pty) Ltd ("Docy", "we", "us"). This Refund Policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund.
1. General
Subscription fees are billed in advance.
Refunds are only offered in the situations outlined below.
Nothing in this Policy affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (South Africa).
2. Our Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions:
- If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription, you can request a full refund — no questions asked.
- After 14 days, refunds are no longer automatic but may still be considered under Section 3 below.
3. Other Refund Situations
Refunds may also be issued in the following cases:
- Duplicate Payment: You were charged more than once for the same subscription.
- Goodwill: We may, at our sole discretion, grant refunds outside the guarantee period in special circumstances.
4. When Refunds Are Not Offered
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Partial subscription periods or unused time after cancellation.
- Terminations resulting from a breach of our Terms and Conditions.
5. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time through the Platform.
Your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing cycle, and you won't be billed again.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email support@docy.com within 14 days of the charge (or as soon as possible in the case of duplicate payments).
Include your account details, the date of the charge, and the reason for your request.
We'll review your request and reply within 10 business days.
